Files are organized by category; PDF, Logo, Background, and Media. It is possible to create subcategories under each category in the media menu area. Right-click and select “Create Category”. PDF files – you can upload up to 125MB files. Remember that the PDF must be in single page setup and without cutting marks. Logo files – We recommend that the logos are at max, 35 pixels high. You can add a webpage address to the logo if needed. Background pictures – We recommend that the background pictures are not larger than around 500KB and set to fit normal screen size. The iPaper CMS will scale if necessary. You can also use .SWF file format for background pictures as well. Media – Here you can upload a movie as an FLV file and also sound files. You can also upload a logo or Flash file to use as a preloader image to show while your iPaper is loading. Creating News Ticker A News Ticker can be inserted at the bottom of your iPaper. Click on “new archive” 3. Name the archive Now click the archive you have created. Select the iPapers you want in this archive. Right-click on the file named “Root”. This will allow you to select your iPapers to apply to your archive, or create a subgroup for more organization. If you select “Select iPapers” this will open a small window where your iPaper will appear. Select the box next to each iPaper you wish to add to your archive. Statistics Report This allows you to create a statistic report at the category level for all iPapers included. To create a new report, right-click on your iPaper and select “Create Report”. Select everything you wish to view in your report. Select “Export report” to export and save. To get access to your saved reports, select the green module tab in the CMS and select “Statistics Report”. Give this file a name, description, and click on the file image to select your file from your Media folder. Create a password to protect an iPaper Go to your green modules tab in the CMS and select “Security”. Right-click on the group area and create new group. Create a new user and set the password – click on save. Right click on the current iPaper that needs password protection and select the groups that are allowed to access the iPaper and press save. When you then try to open the iPaper, a username and password window will appear… To move and copy iPapers – Level 2 resellers only… You can move and copy iPapers to other category levels by right-clicking on the current iPaper you need to move or copy. Select move or copy and then the directory (Category) to place the iPaper file. Press move or copy to finish. Create an offline iPaper for use on CD or other media Right-click on the iPaper named in the left column of your CMS. Select “Create Offline”. Then the iPaper CMS solution will generate a ZIP file to be placed on your Desktop. Extract to a folder on the desktop. This folder will now have a start.swf file which will run the offline iPaper locally on your machine.
