PHOTOGRAPHY Farrell started his business, IMAGES Photography, in 1990. Since then, he has shot more than 500 weddings and currently works 25 to 30 weddings a year. Most, he said, are in the three counties of Southern Maryland, but Farrell has also shot a number of weddings in the Caribbean and is willing to travel to any destination. IMAGES photographed the wedding of Megan and Scott Bickford, who are pictured on the cover of this magazine, in Solomons in October 2008. The Bickfords are the winners of The Southern Maryland Wedding Guide’s cover picture contest. Farrell works alone and said he tries to mix traditional and photojournalistic -- or storytelling -- styles of photography when he shoots a wedding. “With our traditional shots, we try to give a different perspective,” he said. He attributes his success to fair prices and customer service. “Someone should hire us because of our experience, the quality of our work, our very fair pricing and great customer service,” Farrell said. IMAGES offers all types of photography services, including portraits for families, pets, children and high school seniors and commercial photography.
