Interior Finishes WOODguard ITF Sikkens Cetol BL Interior Clear Satin WOODguard ITF is the Interior Wood Finish from the makers of WOODguard. WOODguard ITF is a crystal clear or lightly tinted, water-based finish designed to highlight the wood grain on the interior of log and timber frame homes. WOODguard ITF is a premium, non-yellowing, nonflammable and virtually odorless finish. WOODguard ITF protects your wood with a tough, mildew resistant, and satin finish. It can be cleaned with mild household cleansers, even those containing ammonia, as well as plain soap and water. WOODguard ITF is easy and safe to use. It dries fast and contains no ammonia or other harsh solvents. WOODguard ITF cleans up easily with warm sudsy water. Two coats offer years of durability with a (low sheen) satin finish. Coverage per 5 Gallon Bucket: 1st Coat - 2500 SF for smooth wood 2nd Coat - Greater for smooth wood These colors are available: Sikkens Cetol BL Interior Clear Satin is a quick drying, low odor, waterborne, transparent finish for interior wood surfaces which enhances the natural beauty of the wood grain while providing a hard wearing and scratch resistant surface. Cetol BL Interior Clear can be used on its own or as a topcoat for Cetol Interior Stain. Application: Use a good quality long-haired, nylon polyester brush or spray and apply at temperatures between 50-90 degrees F. Do not apply if humidity is above 80% or in areas of high humidity such as bathrooms or pool rooms. High humidity could cause hazing. Apply first coat of Cetol BL Interior Clear Satin. Wait 4 to 6 hours. Lightly sand with 220 grit sandpaper or a fine scuffing pad and remove the dust. Apply 2nd coat of Cetol BL Interior Clear Satin. Clean tools. Coverage – Approximately 400-500 SF per gallon. Drying Time – Touch dry after 1-2 hours; recoatable after 4-6 hours. Cleaning/Storage – Clean promptly with soap and clean water. Protect from frost.
