Exterior Finishes WOODguard Wood Preservative NEW FIVE YEAR WARRANTY WOODguard TC™ Topcoat WOODguard is a one coat, semi-transparent, oil based wood preservative and log home finish available in six premixed colors. WOODguard protects against wood decay, fungus, mold and mildew. The active ingredient, Copper 8 Quinolinolate, makes WOODguard toxic to termites, powder post beetles and other wood-eating insects. This product is EPA registered, safe to use according to directions and provides excellent water repellency. If you apply just one coat of the WOODguard oil base you will receive a Three Year Warranty for new construction. Here are the benefits of WOODguard: • • • • • • • WOODguard TC is a clear acrylic finish that extends the life of WOODguard to five years and is washable and non-yellowing. When choosing to use this product it should be applied only when the new formula WOODguard has completely cured (dried) for 30 days. WOODguard TC is available in Satin or Gloss Finishes. Use WOODguard TC to extend the life of your first WOODguard coat for a Five Year Warranty. WOODguard TC is designed only for use as a topcoat with new formula WOODguard. If new formula WOODguard has been applied over an existing WOODguard application, WOODguard TC can be applied once the new formula WOODguard has completely cured.
