Stain Additives Floetrol Acrylic Latex Paint Conditioner Floetrol is a latex paint conditioner that improves the performance of latex stain such as Lifeline Interior (particularly the darker colors). Floetrol gives latex stain the feel of oil stain without the clean-up hassles. Floetrol gives you these important benefits: • Penetrol Quality Paint Conditioner Attention Bug Juice Insecticide users!! When you add Bug Juice to a bucket of WOODguard it will sink to the bottom. If you apply WOODguard with the Bug Juice additive to your home without stirring it every 10-15 minutes, the Bug Juice will never make it on your wood until you get to the bottom of the bucket. To avoid this problem we recommend mixing each bottle of Bug Juice with Penetrol Paint Conditioner then pouring and mixing this into WOODguard. This will keep the Bug Juice suspended in the WOODguard so that the entire bucket is conditioned. Penetrol makes WOODguard smoother and easier to apply and maintains its inherent protective qualities and appearance. Penetrol is intended only for oil/alkyd base paints and stains and is not compatible with latex or other water based products. Penetrol improves penetration and adhesion of oil based paints and stains. It spreads paint easier and faster giving a uniform flow and coverage. Penetrol reduces brush drag and increases open time. Unlike thinner, Penetrol does not evaporate and leave too thin a protective coating. It reduces paint peeling and makes paint or varnish smoother, easier to apply, and maintains their inherent protective qualities and appearance. To apply, mix three ounces of Penetrol with one bottle of Bug Juice. Then, pour and mix into a 5-gallon bucket of WOODguard. Otherwise add one pint Penetrol per gallon of interior alkyd enamels, house paints and primers, and oil based exterior stains. • • • • • • • Minimizes brush and roller marks to make your stain job look better with less effort.
