Grip Strip Backer Rod Chink Paint Chink Paint gives your log home a facelift! It is a highly elastomeric, textured latex coating used for renewing the appearance or changing the color of existing chinking. Chink Paint covers chink stains and signs of natural weathering. Its elasticity enables it to expand and contract with Perma-Chink without cracking or peeling. Chink Paint is easily applied with a synthetic brush slightly smaller than the joint size to be painted. Be sure the surface to be painted is clean and dry. Stir Chink Paint thoroughly before and occasionally during application. Apply one coat and it will dry within a few minutes of application. For best results, apply Chink Paint in temperatures of 50 - 90 degrees Fahrenheit and out of direct sunlight. Clean tools and brushes immediately with warm soapy water. Allow to dry completely.
