Log Cleaners Log Wash Wood Cleaner Log Wash Concentrate is an annual maintenance cleaner designed to remove dirt, grime, pollen, and surface mold and mildew from your log home. It cleans your home without harming the wood or the finish. If during the washing process you notice areas where the stain or topcoat is coming off, it is probably time to apply a new coat of stain or topcoat. Log Wash will not harm finishes that are in good condition and it is safe to use on chinking and sealants. Application: Add one (1) cup of Log Wash to one (1) gallon of water and mix or stir. Warm water (not hot) works better than cold water. DO NOT ADD MORE THAN ONE CUP PER GALLON. A more concentrated solution may harm the finish. Plan on cleaning small areas at a time since Log Wash needs to stay wet in order to do its job. Start by wetting down the wall with mist from your garden hose. Apply the Log Wash solution starting at the bottom of the wall and work your way up. Work only an area big enough so that the Log Wash is on the wall for about 5 to 10 minutes. Gently scrub the wall with a soft bristled brush. Then, using a mist setting on the hose nozzle, thoroughly rinse the Log Wash from the top down. Remember, wash from the bottom up, rinse from the top down. This will help prevent streaks and drip marks. Caution: Log Wash is formulated as a maintenance cleaner, and not as a cleaner to prepare the wood for a new coat of stain. Coverage: One gallon of Log Wash concentrate makes approximately 16 gallons of cleaning solution that will clean 2400 to 3400 square feet. Outlast™ KleenStart KleenStart Concentrate puts the cleaning power of pure oxygen into your hands. It loosens stains caused by mold and mildew while gently brightening the wood surface. KleenStart is also effective in removing mill glaze. As it dissolves, the crystals of KleenStart release the oxygen bound up inside them. For exterior & interior use. Makes interior cleaning possible where pressure washing can not be used for rinsing. Application: Wet down landscaping to dilute any overspray mist that might come in contact with plantings. Wet down again at project completion to prevent spotting of foliage. Mix entire contents into a five gallon bucket of fresh tap water or mix 2/3 cup granules per gallon of water. Do not mix more concentrate than can be used in four hours. Diluted material must be freshly mixed to be effective. Apply with a pump up garden sprayer. Wet surface and allow the cleaner to work for approximately 10 minutes. Keep surface moist. If needed, scrub surface with a stiff nylon brush. Rinse with garden hose or pressure washer for exterior use. Re-apply a second treatment to initially unresponsive, heavily discolored areas. For interior use, rinse off with a wet towel when pressure washing is not an option.
