For 2008 the tint levels in the lighter color WOODguard products (Honey 2000 and Honey Base) have been dramatically increased to the point that the company now offers, for the first time, a Three (3) Year Warranty on single coat applications of its tinted Wood Preservative product. When the improved WOODguard Wood Preservative is combined with a topcoat of WOODguard TC Gloss or Satin, applied at least 30 days after the initial WOODguard coat, the warranty increases to Five (5) Years. To obtain the factory warranty, all wood surface preparation and WOODguard product application must be completed per factory instructions. Outlast™ KleenStart Outlast™ KleenStart is a new per carbonate based cleaner ideal for interior wood preparation projects where pressure washing is impossible to impractical. Just spray on KleenStart from a pump up sprayer, let it work for 20 minutes and brush with a nylon scrub brush. The product can be fully rinsed off with clean water using a wet towel. This product removes mill glaze and opens the wood to accept finish. It is particularly well suited for removing water stains and other dirt incurred during the construction process.
