J&P CYCLES® CRUISE NIGHT 2008 This summer, J&P Cycles® held their 5th Annual Summer “Cruise Night” Series. The event, held one night a month from May to September, was held on May 20, June 17, July 22, Aug. 19 and Sept. 9, from 5:30 p.m. to just before dark. “Cruise Night” began as a great reason for avid motorcycle and car folks alike to get together and mingle while enjoying great music and food. A fun, free event, it’s a popular one among families. With food, door prizes and People’s Choice Awards for the favorite car and motorcycle and weekly specials in the J&P® Showroom, who could ask for more! “We started doing Cruise Nights in 2004 and they have really picked up momentum over the years. We have a strong base of participants and spectators who do not miss them – rain or shine,” said Brad Mrstik, event coordinator. “This year’s event was bigger and better than ever thanks to our great sponsors. We had about three times as many sponsors this year, which meant a lot more door prizes for attendees. It was a great year,” he added. A DJ was again on site spinning the tunes and the Anamosa AMVETS were grilling burgers and butterfly chops. “We are so pleased with the turnout this year,” said J&P Cycles® President John Parham. “This is one event we really look forward to. We love hosting the Cruise Nights and hope they continue to be so popular with our customers,” he added.
