To celebrate the 30th anniversary of J&P Cycles®, this book has been written telling the story on the previous pages in much greater detail. The book was authored by Ed Youngblood. Ed has been active in the world of motorcycling for 50 years as president of the American Motorcyclist Association. Ed is now a member of the Motorcycle Hall of Fame and has authored 6 motorcycle related books. A limited number of copies of the book will be available for sale. This popularity of the Museum has also continued to grow and in 2006 over 16,000 people paid admission to the Museum from as far away as Europe and Japan. Spending their lives so involved in the motorcycle industry, John and Jill’s son Zachary also became involved in their passion at a very early age. Attending his first motorcycle event at just a year old, he has been helping in the business at swap meets, races and even the Sturgis Rally since he could talk. For the last several years John and Zach have taken a week each summer to ride through different parts of the country together. Zach graduated from Wartburg college in the spring of 2007 and is now working full-time at J&P Cycles®. Growing up in the business Zach has worked at J&P® officially since 2001, working in the showroom, with the internet department, at the Sturgis and Daytona retail stores and even the warehouse. Zach is now Operations Manager at J&P® and oversees both the Iowa and Ormond Beach, FL retail operations. Zach was married to Brianna Johnson this past July and the couple has settled in Anamosa. Zach already owns 3 motorcycles and his passion for the industry and the sport of motorcycling continues to grow. He looks forward to helping move J&P Cycles® into the future. Both John and Jill Parham have spent their lives promoting the motorcycle industry and with everything that has changed, they continue to work hard day after day to keep J&P Cycles® growing and moving toward the future.
