22 SUSPENSION IGNITION SYSTEM PERFORMANCE SUSPENSIONS 750/101 • PERFORMANCE SPRINGS FOR GIULIETTA & GIULIA 101 SPIDER / SPRINT 1956-65 ph.888.750.ALFA(2532) fx.303.447.0257 Reduces Brake Dive Shot-peened for strength Decreases Body Roll Powder-coated for durability and good looks Our suspension springs for Giulietta and 101-series Giulia are designed as a street performance kit but will also work well on the track. Stiffer than stock, they will lower your Alfa about 1” from its new stock ride height. They greatly reduce brake dive which will shorten stopping distances and improve control during rapid deceleration. Body roll is reduced for improved cornering and more neutral handling. Shot-peening is done to prevent spring sag as the years roll by. We recommend using our front anti-sway bar only when replacing the springs. description Sprint & Spider Front Spring Pair Spider Rear Spring Pair (Fits Sprint but Lowers Rear 1.5” to 2”) 750 & 101 1” Front Sway Bar with Bushings Includes Bushing Numbers SB162, SB457U, SB456U order no. price PS111 $129.50 PS112 118.50 PS114 226.00 • • • • The biggest limitation to Spider handling is its Flexible Flyer chassis. Without a roof to tie the body into a single rigid unit, the Spider body twists with each bump and turn. Our chassis stiffener bolts to the steering and idler box mounts and each forward trailing-arm mount to create a rigid box frame under the car. This will reduce chassis flex and provide the suspension with a much more rigid platform. One of the best things you can do for your Spider – it will feel years younger. They disassemble to ease installation and for UPS shipping. No discounts. Install Koni Adjustable Shocks and adjust firm for the track or soft for the street. It’s the best of both worlds! Your Alfa is lowered 1” from new stock height to maintain real world ground clearance. We recommend using the original anti-sway bars. A large front bar can crack the frame at the mounting points and increase steering kick-back on bumps. Larger rear bars will increase the tendency to oversteer at the limit of adhesion. You will smile (and even laugh) when you drive your Alfa hard! description Front Spring Pair Rear Spring Pair, 105 GTV, Duetto, Spider 1966-69 Rear Spring Pair, GTV 1971-74, 115 Spider 1971-94 Front Spring Rubber Pad (4 per car) Front Spring Seat on Rubber Pad Rear Upper Spring Rubber Pad (2 per car) order no. price PS410 $132.00 PS411 120.00 PS412 104.00 SB145 Inquire SB146 Inquire SB148 15.95 (ea) PERFORMANCE SPRINGS FOR GTV 1965-74 AND SPIDER 1966-94 Suspension Ride Height PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION FOR MILANO AND GTV/6 • Alfa’s transaxle cars are excellent handlers right out of the box, but their raised ride heights made them look odd and allowed excessive body roll and brake dive. Our performance springs and torsion bars lower the car and give you more responsive handling, without an excessively harsh ride. Add a set of Koni Shocks and you’ll be amazed at the handling. description order no. price NEW! 25.4 mm Torsion Bars, Milano and GTV/6 Mid-1985 and later PS427 $389.00 NEW! 25.4 mm Torsion Bars, GTV/6 1981 to Mid-1985, Alfetta PS429 389.00 NEW!
