Higher numbers allow reproduction of fine detail. For screen printing purposes, 65 to 85 line screens are required. COMPUTER FONTS: Computers use groups of typefaces called fonts; for example Helvetica, Times Bold, or Franklin Italics. Font formats that are acceptable are Postscript Type 1, Truetype, Opentype, DFont, and Multiple Master. If your text is not converted to outlines, all fonts will be required to reproduce your artwork. BLEED An imprint is considered to bleed when the image runs to the edges of the product. We require an extra threesixteenth inch of your image in order to bleed on vinyl. We cannot bleed on poly. TRAPPING Trapping is the process of overlapping adjacent colors to avoid multiple-color registration problems. Trapping, also called choke and spread, is necessary in screen printing. HALFTONES, SCREENS TINTS & GRADUATED TINTS Halftones and screen tints are areas of color created by dots instead of solid ink coverage. Graduated screen tints are areas of color that gradually change their density from light to dark. Graduated screen tints below 10% will not print. Tints of 90% or more will print solid. Please keep screen tints between 80% and 20%. If artwork is sent in one of our accepted formats, we can ensure that halftones and tints will be printed at the optimal line screen and angle. ARTWORK FINISHED GOODS Finished goods in warehouse will be drop shipped in full carton quantities only. Any splitting of full cartons will incur additional expense. FREIGHT CLAIMS Shortages in the number of cartons; or any merchandise damaged in transit: It is the responsibility of the consignee to file the claim. As the shipper, we cannot allow any credit, since we cannot file the claim or collect from the carrier. The legal responsibility passes from us to the customer when the merchandise is consigned to a carrier. We will gladly supply any information and/or copies of documents we may have. All merchandise should be inspected immediately upon arrival. If damage is found, contact carrier for inspection. Inspection must be made within 10 days of delivery in order to place a claim. LESS THAN MINIMUMS Call your customer service representative for prices on any order for less than minimum quantity. PRODUCTION TIME Most stock products ship within 24 hours of receipt of purchase order. Normal production time for nonstock products is 15 working days after receipt of order or approval of proof. Please contact us if special assistance is needed. CANCELLATIONS If an order must be cancelled, we must receive cancellation before production has started. This will be granted only if merchandise has not already been made or imprinted. A minimum charge for cancellation will apply unless cancellation is received before order reaches our Order Processing Department. Orders that have already started production will be billed at cost for work completed. SHIPPING METHODS We will ship from our factory via the best available route, taking into consideration the delivery area, speed of delivery, quantity of products being shipped, and cost. Shipments are normally sent via United Parcel Service. If you do not specify routing or carrier, we will make this selection, but we cannot be held responsible for any extra charges involved if this method is not always the cheapest. We can only assure date of shipment, and cannot be held responsible for arrival date. RETURNED MERCHANDISE Unimprinted stock merchandise may be returned for credit. The order must be returned freight prepaid and within 60 days of original shipment. A charge of 15% of the net cost of the order being returned will be charged for handling. Any return must have prior approval with code from your service specialist. Some items, because of their construction, are not returnable - check with your service specialist. WEIGHTS Weights are approximate and may vary slightly. C.O.D. SHIPMENTS Minimal additional charge for additional handling. FOREIGN SHIPMENTS Minimal additional charge for additional handling. FULFILLMENT When items such as cards, letters or other small items are submitted for insertion, an additional charge per item applies for inserting the item. If mailing list is supplied on labels, the labels must be sorted by zip code in ascending order. OVER-RUNS OR UNDER-RUNS We always try to ship the exact amount ordered; however, we reserve the right to ship 10% over the exact amount and bill accordingly.
